SEOUL — K-pop sensation TWICE has achieved a significant milestone as their music video for the 2018 hit “What is Love?” surpassed 800 million views on YouTube, marking the group’s first video to reach this level of viewership.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the music video reached the milestone early Monday morning. “What is Love?” is the title track from TWICE’s fifth extended play, released in April 2018, and was penned and composed by JYP’s founder, Park Jin-young. The song captures the group’s vibrant energy and charm, contributing to its massive appeal on the global stage.
TWICE continues to be a dominant force on YouTube, with a total of 24 music videos each garnering over 100 million views, including other popular tracks like “Likey.” This achievement underscores the group’s strong global fanbase and influence in the international music scene.
