SEOUL: The K-pop subunit WayV, part of the larger group NCT, is set to release its sixth extended play (EP), titled "Frequency," on November 25, as announced by the group's agency. The new EP will consist of six tracks, including both Korean and Chinese versions of its title song, "Frequency." Five members-Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang-participated in the production of the album, according to SM Entertainment. According to Yonhap News Agency, this marks WayV's first musical release in five months since the EP "Give Me That" was launched in June. The previous album, "Give Me That," gained significant recognition, securing the group's first victory in a South Korean TV K-pop charting program and leading the iTunes top albums charts across 19 different countries and regions. WayV, a China-based group, is currently engaged in its inaugural concert tour, which is planned to extend until February 2025. Additionally, the group recently made its debut in Japan on September 25 with its first Japanese EP, "The Highest," which achieved the top position on two Oricon weekly charts.
