SEOUL - Fred Fleitz, a former U.S. official and advisor to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, visited Hyundai Motor Group’s headquarters in Seoul, the company disclosed on Monday. Fleitz, who serves as the vice chair of the Center for American Security at the America First Policy Institute, engaged with Hyundai officials responsible for international business.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Fleitz discussed the forthcoming U.S. elections, global trade, and investment conditions in the United States. Fleitz's background includes roles as a Central Intelligence Agency analyst and a member of the National Security Council under Trump’s administration, adding a significant depth to his discussions with Hyundai executives concerning geopolitical and economic policies affecting global markets.
