South Korean Bond Yields Dip Across Most Maturities

SEOUL — South Korean bond yields witnessed a decline across most maturities today, with notable changes observed from the previous session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on the 1-year treasury bills fell by 3.7 basis points, closing at 3.156 percent. Similarly, the 2-year treasury bills saw a decrease of 4.3 basis points, settling at 3.057 percent. The 3-year treasury bills also declined by 4.6 basis points, ending the day at 2.978 percent. The most significant drop was seen in the 10-year treasury bills, which decreased by 6.2 basis points to 3.046 percent. The 2-year monetary stabilization bonds (MSBs) and 3-year corporate bonds rated AA- also experienced declines in yields by 3.8 and 4.8 basis points, respectively. However, the 91-day certificates of deposit (CDs) remained unchanged at a yield of 3.500 percent.
