SEOUL — South Korean bond yields experienced slight fluctuations on Tuesday, reflecting a mixed sentiment in the bond market as traders adjusted their positions based on recent economic data.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the yield on the 1-year treasury bills dipped slightly by 0.3 basis points, closing at 3.152%, while the 2-year and 3-year treasury bills saw an increase of 1.0 basis point each, settling at 3.086% and 3.004% respectively. The 10-year treasury bill yield also rose by 1.2 basis points to 3.064%. Meanwhile, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bonds (MSB) and the 3-year Corporate Bonds rated AA- increased by 0.7 and 0.8 basis points, closing at 3.067% and 3.459% respectively. The 91-day certificate of deposit maintained its rate at 3.500%.
