G-Dragon to Set Off on ‘Ubermensch’ Tour in May

Seoul: K-pop star G-Dragon will embark on his "Ubermensch" tour in May, making stops in eight cities across seven Asian countries, his agency, Galaxy Corp., said Thursday. The tour will kick off at the Tokyo Dome on May 10-11, followed by performances in Bulacan, Osaka, Macau, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Hong Kong.

According to Yonhap News Agency, this tour marks the singer-rapper's first solo tour in about eight years since the one in 2017, which attracted 650,000 fans with 36 performances. The upcoming tour is anticipated to draw significant attention from fans across Asia.

More concerts are expected, as the first eight cities were labeled as "Phase I" of his solo tour, according to the agency. This suggests that additional locations may be announced in the future, potentially expanding the reach of the "Ubermensch" tour.

Meanwhile, before the commencement of the tour, the artist is set to perform in two concerts in Goyang, northwest of Seoul, on March 29-30. These performances may serve as a prelude to the larger tour, offering fans a glimpse of what to expect in the coming months.
