Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed results with notable performances from HyundaiAutoever and Hanwha Aerospace. HyundaiAutoever led the gains, closing at 471,500, marking a significant increase of 76,500. Hanwha Aerospace also showed strong growth, finishing at 1,214,000, up by 124,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies also reported positive movements. Asia Holdings rose by 1,000 to close at 318,500, while HyundaiMtr saw an increase of 25,500 to reach 366,000. POSCO Holdings and KumhoPetrochem also registered gains, closing at 304,000 and 121,700, respectively. Additionally, HankukCarbon reported an increase of 7,000, reaching 38,400.
Conversely, several companies experienced declines. Samsung SDI CO.,LTD. fell by 3,500 to 267,500, and GC Corp decreased by 1,900, closing at 156,400. SK Innovation saw a drop of 2,900, ending at 99,700, while Hanchem fell by 8,000 to 228,500.
Despite some downturns, other companies such as SamyangFood and TaekwangInd experienced gains, with SamyangFood closing at 1,206,000, an increase of 27,000, and TaekwangInd rising by 13,000 to finish at 722,000. Meanwhile, DB INSURANCE and S-1 remained stable, showing no change in their closing prices.
