N. Korea’s Kim Commits to Unwavering Backing for Putin’s Strategies

Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has declared a commitment to “permanent” support for the policies of Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korea’s state media reported on Friday. This announcement comes as Pyongyang and Moscow enhance their military cooperation.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim expressed his unconditional respect and support for all of Putin’s policies and decisions in a letter addressed to the Russian leader. Kim assured Putin of his willingness to stand by him and Russia, emphasizing the constancy and permanence of this choice.

Kim also highlighted the comradely relations between the two nations, describing his friendly ties with Putin as invaluable and a source of pride. The letter was a response to Putin’s congratulatory message, which Kim received the previous day, as reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

While the KCNA did not specify when or on what occasion Putin sent the letter to Kim, it is speculated that it might have been on Kim’s birthday, January 8. Kim acknowledged Putin’s letter as a gesture of friendship and trust towards him and the North Korean people, expressing gratitude and wishing success for Putin’s future endeavors.
