Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a variety of price movements as several prominent companies saw fluctuations in their stock prices. Some companies experienced gains, while others faced declines, according to the latest closing price list.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LGELECTRONICS closed at 89,100, marking a decline of 3,100. Meanwhile, Hanwha Engine's stock increased by 4,150, closing at 49,700. HANAFINANCIALGR also saw a positive shift, closing at 92,900 with an increase of 1,000. On the other hand, AMOREPACIFIC experienced a decrease of 800, closing at 119,200.
LIG Nex1 reported an increase of 11,000, bringing its closing price to 542,000. Misto Holdings and HANWHA LIFE remained unchanged, closing at 42,250 and 3,080, respectively. Other companies such as GS and HYUNDAIGLOVIS showed positive trends, with GS closing at 57,200, up by 1,400, and HYUNDAIGLOVIS closing at 226,500, up by 3,000.
Among other notable changes, emart's stock rose by 1,100 to close at 81,800, while iM Financial Group saw a decline, closing at 14,490, down by 370. GKL's stock increased by 300, closing at 14,050, whereas KOLON IND experienced a minor decline of 100, ending at 41,050.
Youngone Corp's stock rose by 1,200, closing at 85,100, while Meritz Financial faced a significant drop of 6,100, ending at 101,500. BNK Financial Group saw a small decline, closing at 15,300, down by 30. SD Biosensor and CSWIND experienced positive movements, with SD Biosensor closing at 8,710, up by 40, and CSWIND at 39,700, up by 200.
HanmiPharm's stock increased by 14,000, closing at 477,000, and KRAFTON saw a slight rise of 500, closing at 230,000. APR reported a notable increase of 11,500, closing at 228,500.
In contrast, ORION's stock declined by 1,400, closing at 103,100, and HD HYUNDAI ELECTRIC faced a decrease of 14,000, ending at 848,000. HS HYOSUNG ADVANCED reported an increase of 3,900, closing at 182,900, while BGF Retail's stock rose by 1,100, closing at 103,400.
HD HYUNDAI experienced a significant rise of 8,500, closing at 205,000. Netmarble and SKCHEM faced declines, with Netmarble closing at 48,600, down by 300, and SKCHEM closing at 66,200, down by 400. Doosan Bobcat and ECOPRO MAT also saw decreases, closing at 56,700 and 51,500, respectively.
DL E and C's stock rose by 1,700, closing at 41,100, while SKSQUARE remained unchanged at 430,500. SK ie technology faced a decline of 1,300, closing at 23,400. HDHMS reported a significant increase of 8,100, closing at 192,200, and kakaopay's stock rose by 1,200, ending at 49,250.
Lastly, Doosan Robotics and KIA CORP. saw positive trends, with Doosan Robotics closing at 83,600, up by 500, and KIA CORP. closing at 133,200, up by 8,300. CJ also reported an increase of 4,900, closing at 179,200.
