KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movements as Several Stocks Climb

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index showcased a combination of gains and declines in recent trading sessions. Among the notable climbers were HanmiPharm, which surged to 560,000, marking an increase of 41,000, and SeAH Steel Holdings, which rose by 24,200 to reach a closing price of 201,000. DL E and C also saw a substantial rise, closing at 67,400, up by 15,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LG H and H experienced a significant increase, closing at 255,500, which is up by 12,500. KIWOOM followed closely, increasing by 11,500 to settle at 460,500. Meanwhile, CJ recorded a gain of 10,000, ending the session at 207,000. Other notable gainers included KEPCO E and C, which saw its price rise by 7,500, closing at 175,500, and SANIL ELECTRIC, which also increased by 7,500 to end at 159,200.

On the flip side, some stocks experienced declines. Notably, HyundaiEng and Const fell by 5,500 to close at 164,000, HYBE decreased by 10,500 to 344,000, and SK hynix dropped by 6,000, finishing at 1,007,000. Hyundai Rotem also saw a decline of 6,200, closing at 180,100.

In other movements, SKTelecom closed at 78,800, marking an increase of 600, while kakaopay rose by 4,100 to end at 64,300. Youngone Corp also saw a gain, increasing by 2,900 to close at 84,200. Conversely, KIA CORP. experienced a decline, closing at 168,500, which is down by 2,000.
