Seoul: South Korea's twelve major cities are experiencing high temperatures and predominantly sunny skies this Sunday, according to the weather forecast released at 9:01 a.m.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the forecast predicts temperatures reaching highs of 34-36°C across cities such as Seoul, Suwon, Cheongju, and Daegu, with minimal chances of rain. Seoul is expected to have a high of 34°C and a low of 25°C, with a 10% chance of rain, while Incheon and Suwon also anticipate sunny conditions without any expectation of rain.
Cheongju and Daejeon are forecasted to have a slightly higher chance of rain at 60%, despite the temperatures reaching around 35°C. Chuncheon shares the same percentage possibility of rain, with temperatures ranging from 34°C to 26°C.
Other cities such as Jeonju and Busan are expected to remain dry, with temperatures reaching 35°C and 32°C respectively. Gwangju and Jeju are forecasted to have cloudy skies, with Jeju experiencing a 20% chance of rain.
Gangneung, with temperatures at a high of 35°C, also shows a 20% possibility of rain, while Daegu leads with the highest temperature prediction at 36°C, under sunny conditions with no rain forecasted.
