Seoul:President Lee Jae Myung is set to meet with Evan G. Greenberg, the chair of the U.S.-Korea Business Council (USKBC) and CEO of Chubb Group, to discuss economic cooperation and trade relations between South Korea and the United States. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
According to Yonhap News Agency, President Lee plans to review the outcomes of a joint plenary meeting held earlier in Seoul between the U.S.-Korea and Korea-U.S. Business Councils. This meeting involved collaboration between the USKBC and its South Korean counterpart, operated by the Federation of Korean Industries.
The USKBC, a significant business advocacy group representing leading U.S. companies involved with Korea, gathered with its South Korean partners to strengthen economic ties. During the discussions, Lee intends to encourage the USKBC to help expand economic cooperation between Seoul and Washington, as stated by Cheong Wa Dae.
