Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index experienced notable gains, with several companies reporting significant increases in their stock prices. Prominent among these, SK Innovation saw a substantial rise, climbing 11,000 to reach 163,000. LG CNS also made impressive progress, with its stock price advancing 4,700 to 69,900.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that recorded significant gains include Hyundai Department Store, which increased by 6,100 to 85,300, and Samsung Life, which rose by 6,000 to 244,500. Doosan Enerbility and Hyundai Rotem also saw notable ups, with increases of 2,000 and 3,800 respectively.
Additional companies demonstrating positive movements on the index were NAVER, which went up by 2,900 to 182,900, and LG Uplus, which rose by 280 to 15,790. Meanwhile, LG Display and Shinhan Group experienced slight declines, with LG Display dropping by 30 to 7,460 and Shinhan Group decreasing by 100 to 93,300.
Overall, the trading session reflected a strong performance across various sectors, contributing to the overall upward trend in the KOSPI 200 index.
