Babymonster Set to Release First Studio Album This Fall

SEOUL — YG Entertainment's emerging girl group Babymonster is slated to release its first full-length album in the coming September or October, according to the agency's chief producer. The announcement came via a video posted on YG's official blog on Monday, signaling a significant step for the new group in the competitive music industry.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the group will also drop a new single in early July, ahead of their album release. He also shared updates about Treasure, another act under YG Entertainment, which will launch a digital single titled "King Kong" on May 28. Despite their ongoing Asian tour, Yang noted the timely break in their schedule allows for this new release, promising that it will maintain the energetic performance style familiar to fans.
