Seoul: South Korea’s food giant CJ Cheiljedang Corp. on Monday reported its 2024 net income of 361.8 billion won (US$249.3 million), down 35.3 percent from a year earlier.
According to Yonhap News Agency, operating income for the year was 1.55 trillion won, which marked an increase of 20.2 percent on-year. The company’s annual revenue also saw a slight rise, increasing by 1.2 percent to reach 29.35 trillion won.
The report highlights both the challenges and growth areas for CJ Cheiljedang, as the decline in net income contrasts with the rise in operating income and revenue. These financial results provide a snapshot of the company’s performance over the past year, reflecting various factors influencing its operations and financial health.
