Seoul:Tensions have emerged between South Korea and the United States regarding the Alaska LNG project, following a unilateral announcement by the U.S. about the investment size.

According to Yonhap News Agency, several major South Korean newspapers reported that the U.S. disclosed the investment amount for the Alaska LNG project without an agreement from Seoul, leading to dissatisfaction from the South Korean side.

Headlines across Korean newspapers highlighted this issue, with many noting Seoul's expressed regrets over the U.S.'s independent declaration. The reports indicate that this has caused a rift between the two nations concerning the project.
