G-Dragon Set to Release New Solo Album Later This Year

Seoul – G-Dragon, the main rapper of the K-pop group BIGBANG, is planning to release a new solo album in the second half of this year, aiming for a major comeback in the music industry. His agency, Galaxy Corp., made the announcement in a press release discussing G-Dragon's recent activities, including a notable meeting with French perfumer Frederic Malle.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the meeting took place in Seoul, where Frederic Malle was visiting the new flagship store of his brand, Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, the first of its kind in Asia. During this visit, the brand also launched a special edition of its popular fragrance Musc Ravageur, now dubbed the "G-Dragon perfume." The collaboration marks a decade of the artist's personal appreciation for the brand, which he expressed satisfaction with during the announcement. Details about the upcoming album remain sparse, but the anticipation is already building among fans and industry observers alike.
