SEOUL, - Hyundai Glovis Co. announced its financial results for the third quarter on Thursday, with a net profit of 246 billion won (US$180.9 million), up 4.1% from a year earlier.
According to a new release by the Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Glovis posted an operating profit of 384.2 billion won for the quarter, compared to 478.1 billion won from the same period last year. Sales saw a 9.8% decline to 6.33 trillion won. The results fell short of market expectations, with the average net profit estimate by analysts at 264.5 billion won, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
