SEOUL - KG Mobility, formerly known as SsangYong Motor Co., reported a decline in its June sales figures.
According to Yonhap News Agency, KG Mobility's June sales decreased by 8.6 percent compared to the same period last year, totaling 9,358 vehicles down from 10,243. The sharp decline was particularly notable in domestic sales, which plummeted 28.8 percent to 4,102 units. In contrast, the company's exports experienced a significant boost, increasing by 17.2 percent to 5,256 units, with notable performance improvements in markets such as Hungary and Spain. A KG Mobility official highlighted the company’s strategy to reverse the downward trend by expanding its product offerings globally and enhancing responsiveness to consumer preferences.
