Renault Korea Sees Significant Sales Growth in June, Boosted by Export Performance

SEOUL - Renault Korea Motors Co., the South Korean division of Renault S.A., has experienced a notable 23.4 percent increase in sales for June, largely due to a substantial rise in exports.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Renault Korea sold 9,002 vehicles last month, up from 7,297 units during the same month the previous year. The surge was led by a 24.8 percent increase in exports, totaling 6,961 units compared to 5,576 units a year earlier. Domestic sales also improved, increasing by 6.9 percent to 1,901 units. The company highlighted significant export figures for the Arkana and QM6 models, which numbered 6,082 and 879 units, respectively. This positive trend coincides with the launch of the Grand Koleos, Renault Korea's new hybrid SUV and its first new model in four years, aimed at revitalizing the brand's presence in the South Korean market.
