Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index saw a blend of gains and losses in its latest session, with notable performances from leading companies.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. recorded a significant rise, closing at 569,000, up by 7,000. LG Energy Solution also saw a substantial increase, finishing at 401,000, up by 10,000. Other gainers included Youngone Holdings, increasing by 3,500 to reach 174,400, and ISUPETASYS, which also gained 3,500, closing at 125,500.
In contrast, several companies experienced declines. POSCO Holdings dropped by 1,000 to 306,500, and Hyundai Eng and Const saw a decrease of 3,100, ending at 107,800. LS experienced a significant drop of 12,500, closing at 267,500, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries fell by 16,000 to 384,000. The largest decline was observed in Hyosung Heavy, which fell by 94,000 to 2,494,000.
The session highlighted mixed performances across various sectors, reflecting a varied investor sentiment in the market.
