KOSPI 200 Companies See Mixed Performance

Seoul:The latest closing prices of KOSPI 200 companies displayed varied performance, with some companies experiencing gains while others faced declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace saw a significant increase, with its stock rising by 38,000 to close at 1,072,000. Meanwhile, Samsung Heavy Industries' shares rose by 240, reaching 19,960, and Korea Aerospace's stock saw an increase of 6,400, closing at 133,500.

Other notable gainers included Coway, which increased by 2,300 to 101,600, Lotte Shopping up by 800 to 102,100, and SK Telecom, which rose by 2,100 to 88,400. Additionally, Hanwha Ocean and Hanmi Semiconductor saw their shares rise by 300 and 3,500, closing at 78,800 and 272,000, respectively.

On the downside, Samsung Epis Holding's stock experienced a drop of 8,500 to 365,000, while LG Innotek decreased by 10,000, closing at 574,000. Samsung SDS and SK both saw declines, with their shares falling by 3,500 to 219,500 and by 3,000 to 584,000, respectively. COSMAX and Kolmar Korea also faced declines, with their stocks dropping by 9,000 and 9,900, closing at 270,000 and 136,600, respectively.

The mixed performance reflects a varied market environment for these companies listed on the KOSPI 200.
