KOSPI 200 Index Sees Mixed Movements in Major Stocks

Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index displayed a variety of movements among its constituent stocks, with some companies experiencing gains while others saw declines.

According to Yonhap News Agency, notable increases were recorded for Samsung Epis Holding, which rose by 6,500 to reach 346,000, and Korea Zinc, which gained 6,000 to close at 1,070,000. Other companies that saw an upward trend included Hanon Systems, which climbed 320 points to 3,520, and SK, which increased by 2,000 to 588,000. Doosan Enerbility also went up by 1,900, closing at 81,600, and Samsung SDS rose by 2,500 to 219,000.

On the other hand, several stocks experienced declines. Hanwha Aerospace dropped by 5,000 to 1,007,000, while S-1 decreased by 900 to 82,600. KEPCO fell by 150 to 29,950, and Coway saw a reduction of 2,100, closing at 99,400. Samsung Life experienced a significant drop of 8,500 to 282,000.

The data reflects a varied performance across the index, highlighting the dynamic nature of the market and the differing trajectories of individual stocks.
