Seoul:The KOSPI 200 index has reported widespread declines across its listed companies. Among the notable decreases, SK hynix closed at 1,275,000 KRW, down by 2,000 KRW, and Samsung Electronics Mech ended at 1,118,000 KRW, falling by 4,000 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Energy Solution experienced a significant drop, closing at 375,000 KRW, down by 8,000 KRW. Similarly, HYOSUNG HEAVY saw a substantial decrease, ending at 1,853,000 KRW, a decline of 24,000 KRW.
Other companies also experienced declines, including Kumho Petrochem, which fell by 5,700 KRW to close at 102,500 KRW, and LG Innotek, which decreased by 12,000 KRW, closing at 367,000 KRW. Meanwhile, OCI Holdings saw a drop of 11,400 KRW, closing at 182,700 KRW.
However, not all companies witnessed declines. Hanmi Science increased by 650 KRW, closing at 42,250 KRW, and Hyundai WIA saw a rise of 300 KRW, ending at 49,400 KRW. Despite these gains, the overall performance of the index was marked by declines.
