Seoul, South Korea — The main Korea Stock Exchange witnessed a day of mixed results for the KOSPI 200 stocks on Monday. Several major corporations saw fluctuations in their stock prices by the day's close.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai M&F Insurance was up by 500 KRW, closing at 29,250 KRW, while KIA Corp notably rose by 4,800 KRW to end at 114,600 KRW. Conversely, Hanssem experienced a significant drop, down 1,300 KRW to 45,600 KRW. The biggest gain was seen by KorZinc, whose stocks surged by 14,500 KRW to close at 485,000 KRW. On the downside, Hanwha Aerospace saw the largest decline, dropping 7,000 KRW to 210,000 KRW. Other significant movements included Samsung Electronics Mechanics, which decreased by 5,700 KRW to 152,000 KRW, and LS Electric, which climbed 4,100 KRW to finish at 143,800 KRW.
