KOSPI 200 Stocks Experience Mixed Movements on the Korea Stock Exchange


Seoul: Monday’s trading session on the Korea Stock Exchange saw a mix of gains and losses across the KOSPI 200 index. Several stocks ended the day with increased prices, while others experienced declines.



According to Yonhap News Agency, notable gains were observed in stocks such as HITEJINRO, which closed at 20,600 KRW, marking an increase of 300 KRW. Yuhan saw a significant rise, closing at 107,300 KRW, up by 3,500 KRW. SLCORP also experienced an uptick, ending the day at 32,150 KRW, an increase of 600 KRW. DOOSAN recorded a substantial gain, closing at 588,000 KRW, up by 39,000 KRW. Similarly, CJ LOGISTICS saw its price rise to 87,400 KRW, an increase of 2,900 KRW.



Meanwhile, some stocks saw declines. DL closed at 48,450 KRW, down by 50 KRW, and KCC ended the day at 327,000 KRW, down by 500 KRW. TCC STEEL experienced a decrease, settling at 16,970 KRW, a drop of 570 KRW. Other stocks such as MiwonComcl and TaekwangInd also saw declines, with MiwonComcl closing at 183,300 KRW, down by 1,300 KRW, and TaekwangInd ending at 1,041,000 KRW, a decrease of 9,000 KRW.



In addition to the mixed movements, SK hynix recorded a closing price of 229,000 KRW, up by 4,500 KRW, while HyundaiMtr saw a significant increase, ending at 197,800 KRW, up by 8,200 KRW. The overall performance of the KOSPI 200 stocks reflected varied investor sentiments during Monday’s trading session.
