KOSPI 200 Stocks See Mixed Performance as Several Companies Record Declines

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed performance, with several companies witnessing declines in their stock prices. Notable among these were emart, which fell by 2,500 to close at 80,400, and HYBE, which saw a significant decrease of 10,000, closing at 228,500.



According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as BNK Financial Group and DGB Financial Group also recorded decreases, with their stock prices dropping by 10 and 30, respectively. Additionally, DENTIUM’s shares fell by 1,600, closing at 62,100, while KOLMAR KOREA experienced a decrease of 1,000 to finish at 65,600.



Some companies, however, managed to see an increase in their stock prices. Samsung Biologics’ shares rose by 15,000, ending the day at 1,084,000. Hanwha Systems also saw an uptick, with its stock price increasing by 2,450, closing at 41,300. Another notable performer was HD Hyundai Electric, which saw a rise of 2,000, concluding at 361,000.



Other companies experiencing increases included HL Mando, which went up by 1,350 to close at 41,650, and SK ie technology, which saw a rise of 900 to end at 71,600. Meanwhile, ISU Specialty Chemical’s stock increased by 2,200, closing at 56,800, while kakaopay’s shares rose by 1,200, ending the day at 32,800.



Despite the mixed outcomes, the day saw notable stability in some stocks, with HD Hyundai and OCI maintaining their previous closing prices at 75,900 and 59,500, respectively.
