N. Korea’s Kim Jong-un Asserts Unwavering Progress at Party Congress

North korea: North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has affirmed that the country's progress will not be hindered by changes in the security environment during the ongoing party congress, as reported by state media on Tuesday. Despite ongoing overtures from South Korea and the United States to resume dialogue, Kim did not extend any message to these countries, suggesting that North Korea might be considering a potential policy shift in response to the evolving international landscape.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Jong-un addressed the congress of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, stating, "No challenge or change in the situation can delay or check our advance." In his concluding speech, he emphasized the need for bold actions to overcome and eliminate backwardness and harmful practices, as reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
