Seoul, South Korea — National Assembly Speaker Kim Jin-pyo is set to begin an eight-day diplomatic tour to the United States and Canada starting Monday. The visit aims to enhance relations and cooperation with the two nations' parliaments.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim will focus on establishing regular communication channels and fostering partnerships in defense and critical minerals supply chains. This trip marks the first time a South Korean National Assembly speaker has visited the U.S. in five years, highlighting its significance in strengthening parliamentary diplomacy between the countries.
