According to Yonhap News Agency, a commentary from the Korean Central News Agency, North Korea’s official media outlet, criticized the U.S. deployment of a squadron of F-35B fighters to an air base in Iwakuni, Japan. The commentary accused the U.S. of increasing the risk of nuclear war by escalating military presence in the region.
The commentary emphasized the heightened unpredictability of armed conflict and nuclear war due to the U.S.’s actions.
