OCI Holdings Remains in Red in Q4

General

Seoul: OCI Holdings Co. on Monday reported its fourth-quarter net loss of 81.9 billion won (US$56.5 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company disclosed this information in a regulatory filing, highlighting a challenging financial period.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the company posted an operating loss of 107.8 billion won for the October-December period. This marks a significant downturn from a profit of 65.1 billion won recorded in the same period a year ago. Despite the losses, sales for OCI Holdings rose by 32.3 percent, reaching 853.9 billion won. This increase in sales indicates some positive movement in revenue, although it was insufficient to offset the operational and net losses.
