Seoul:Prime Minister Han Seong-sook expressed her condolences following the death of renowned actor Choi Bool-am, reflecting on his significant impact on South Korea's cultural and artistic history.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Choi Bool-am, who was regarded as a father figure to the nation, passed away on Thursday night at the age of 87. Prime Minister Han shared her sentiments on the social platform X, highlighting Choi's career as a pivotal part of South Korean culture and arts.
Besides his contributions to the arts, Choi was also known for his societal efforts, including supporting children from vulnerable backgrounds and those with incurable diseases, as well as aiding in the search for missing children. "Together with the people, I will remember the way he warmed the hearts of the people," Han stated.
