SEOUL - In a recent court proceeding, South Korean prosecutors have recommended a four-year prison sentence for actor Yoo Ah-in, known for his role in the Netflix series "Hellbound," on multiple drug-related charges.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Yoo Ah-in is accused of habitually misusing propofol and other anesthetic drugs, including midazolam and ketamine, under the guise of cosmetic procedures over a span from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, he faces charges for the illegal purchase of approximately 1,100 sleeping pills using prescriptions issued in others' names and for consuming marijuana in the United States. The sentencing recommendation was made during the final hearing at the Seoul Central District Court, with the final verdict scheduled for September 3. Yoo expressed deep remorse for his actions in his closing statement to the court, pledging to live a healthier and more constructive life regardless of the court's decision.
