Reflecting on the tournament, Ryu expressed appreciation for the support she received and her determination to work harder for future tournaments. Despite her disappointment at not making history, Ryu acknowledged her two major wins and a top-10 finish as significant achievements. She emphasized the invaluable experience gained and expre ssed her intent to cherish this week throughout her career. Ryu led the tournament at seven-under midway but encountered difficulties during the weekend, with consecutive rounds of 74. Her performance included one double bogey and two bogeys initially, followed by one double bogey and ten bogeys over the subsequent rounds. These challenges also hindered Ryu's chances of winning the Annika Major Award, presented to the player with the best overall performance across five major tournaments annually. She accumulated 130 points from her victories and sixth-place finish, falling 10 points short of Nelly Korda of the United States, who secured the award with two major wins and two additional top-10 placements. Reflecting on her performance, Ryu expressed satisfaction with her results in England, noting it as her best showing at this tournament.
