Shifts in South Korean Bond Yields as of July 15, 2024

SEOUL — South Korean bond yields saw varied changes on Monday, July 15, 2024, with fluctuations across several maturities. The market movements reflect ongoing adjustments within the country’s financial landscape.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Today, the 1-year Treasury bond (TB) yield decreased by 0.9 basis points, settling at 3.192%, while the 2-year TB yield dropped by 2.4 basis points to 3.137%. The 3-year TB yield experienced a decline of 2.5 basis points, ending at 3.076%. However, the 10-year TB yield remained stable with no change, maintaining at 3.177%. Meanwhile, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield decreased by 1.6 basis points to 3.133%, and the 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) rated AA- decreased by 1.4 basis points to 3.538%. The 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) also saw a decrease, moving down by 1.0 basis point to 3.540%.
