South Korea Denounces Deadly Attack in Golan Heights

Golan Heights - South Korea has officially condemned the recent deadly rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, which resulted in the deaths of 12 children, urging all involved parties to prevent further escalation of regional tensions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the attack targeted the Druze community in the village of Majdal Shams, leading to tragic child fatalities and leaving about 30 other individuals injured. The assault occurred on a soccer field within a village that is home to approximately 20,000 Druze Arabs, an area that has been under Israeli control since the Six-Day War in 1967. The ministry expressed its deep condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and called for restraint among all parties to avoid further exacerbation of the situation. The incident has increased regional tensions, particularly as Israel has attributed the attack to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, heightening concerns over potential escalation into a broader conflict.
