Stability in Short-Term KORIBOR, Slight Increases in Longer Terms

SEOUL - The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained stable in short-term rates but showed slight increases in longer-term rates. These figures were reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the one-week (1-W) KORIBOR remained unchanged at 3.50 percent, the same as the previous session. However, there were marginal increases in longer durations. The one-month (1-M) rate rose slightly from 3.69 to 3.70 percent, the two-month (2-M) rate from 3.82 to 3.83 percent, and the three-month (3-M) rate from 4.00 to 4.01 percent. Similarly, the six-month (6-M) and twelve-month (12-M) rates saw modest increases, rising to 4.07 percent and 4.05 percent, respectively, from 4.06 percent and 4.04 percent in the previous session. These changes in the KORIBOR reflect subtle shifts in the interbank lending market and are indicative of broader economic trends.
