Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Monday that peace negotiations with Iran are progressing "nicely," but he issued a stark warning that U.S. military action would resume on an unprecedented scale if no agreement is reached.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Trump shared his remarks on social media, emphasizing that the United States will only accept a "great deal" with Iran, or none at all. The negotiations aim to establish a framework that includes a 60-day extension of the ceasefire, during which the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened, and discussions on Iran's nuclear program would continue.
"Negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are proceeding nicely! It will only be a Great Deal for all or, no Deal at all -- Back to the Battlefront and shooting, but bigger and stronger than ever before -- And nobody wants that!" Trump stated on Truth Social.
