Two Arrested in Pyeongtaek Following Mass Brawl Involving Central Asian Nationals

Pyeongtaek:Police have arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in a late-night mass brawl that occurred earlier this month in Pyeongtaek, a city located approximately 60 kilometers south of Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the incident involved 21 suspects and took place at around 1140 p.m. on October 3 at a children's park in the city, which has raised safety concerns among local residents.

The Pyeongtaek Police Station reported that five suspects, all Kazakh or Kyrgyz nationals in their 20s or 30s, have been apprehended. Among these, two have been arrested on charges of assault. Authorities have issued exit bans on two other suspects and are actively investigating the whereabouts of 14 additional individuals involved in the incident.
