Vice Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun Scheduled for Official Visits to Kenya, Mauritius, and UAE

SEOUL — South Korea's First Vice Foreign Minister, Kim Hong-kyun, will embark on a diplomatic tour to Kenya, Mauritius, and the United Arab Emirates this week.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim's four-day journey to Kenya and Mauritius begins Monday, with the aim of discussing their participation in the upcoming South Korea-Africa summit, scheduled for June 4-5 in Seoul. Following his visit to Africa, Kim will proceed to the UAE on Friday to engage in talks focusing on bilateral relations and ongoing cooperation initiatives from a previous summit in January of the last year.
