Seoul – A woman in her 30s was detained on Sunday for attacking musical actors with a knife in a dressing room in western Seoul, resulting in a minor injury to Kyuhyun, a member of the K-pop group Super Junior.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the incident occurred at 6 p.m. in Magok-dong, where the woman reportedly broke into the dressing room and threatened the actors with a knife. The Seoul Gangseo Police Station apprehended the woman at 6:30 p.m.
Kyuhyun sustained a minor abrasion on his finger while attempting to subdue the suspect. According to police officials, there are no known relations between the woman and the actors.
The police are currently investigating the suspect's mental health history and the origins of the weapon she used. The incident has raised concerns about the security of public figures and the need for stricter measures to ensure their safety.
