SEOUL: Mixed results characterized the trading session for KOSPI 200 companies, with several notable gains and declines across various sectors. Leading the increases, Hanjinkal saw its shares rise by 3,300 units, followed closely by DENTIUM and F and F with gains of 2,200 and 2,400 units, respectively. On the downside, LG Energy Solution and Yuhan recorded significant drops, down by 5,000 and 3,500 units. According to Yonhap News Agency, the trading day witnessed varying performances among the companies listed in the KOSPI 200 index. For instance, CosmoAM and T experienced a decrease of 2,900 units in their stock prices, while KOLMAR KOREA and PIAM saw modest increases of 300 and 50 units. Similarly, Meritz Financial increased by 2,000 units, contrasting with COSMAX, which fell by 1,500 units. In terms of sector-specific movements, technology and financial services showed noteworthy activity. SK ie technology and SK SQUARE saw their stock prices adjust by 900 units down and 1,800 units up, respectively. Th e financial sector had mixed results with BNK Financial Group and DGB Financial Group posting gains, whereas POSCO Holdings saw a reduction of 2,500 units. The day's trading highlighted the dynamic nature of the stock market, with companies like ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL and Kumyang facing declines, while others such as YoulchonChem and DL E and C reported gains, reflecting ongoing adjustments in investor sentiment and market conditions.
