Arrest Made in Gangnam After Man Threatens Woman with Weapon

SEOUL: Police arrested a man in his 40s who was threatening a woman with a weapon in a household item store near Gangnam Subway Station on Saturday morning. Officials reported that they responded to an emergency call around 9:30 a.m. and apprehended the suspect approximately 25 minutes later. According to Yonhap News Agency, the woman involved was safely rescued without harm. The police are currently investigating the motive behind the incident and are preparing to request an arrest warrant on charges of attempted murder.
