Brunei Teacher Receives Princess Maha Chakri Award in Bangkok Ceremony

Bangkok - A teacher from Pengiran Kesuma Negara Primary School, Bukit Beruang, Awang Mohamad Amir Irwan Bin Haji Moksin, was conferred the Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) in a ceremony held in Bangkok, Thailand. The Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam participated in the Virtual Opening Ceremony and PMCA Award Presentation. According to Radio Television Brunei, Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education, was among the attendees. Established in 2015, the PMCA is an international award designed to recognize exceptional contributions in education and in improving the quality of life for disadvantaged groups within the sub-region.
