Diverse Shifts in KOSPI 200 Closing Prices Highlight Market Fluctuations

SEOUL – The closing prices of stocks listed in the KOSPI 200, a primary index of the Korea Stock Exchange, exhibited diverse shifts, reflecting the ongoing fluctuations in the South Korean stock market.

Key stock price movements included:

Kumyang closed with an increase of 5,300 won, ending at 121,000 won.

Daesang's stock fell by 1,000 won, closing at 19,800 won.

SKNetworks experienced a decrease of 120 won, ending the session at 5,790 won.

LIG Nex1 saw a marginal gain, closing at 95,400 won, up by 400 won.

Fila Holdings' shares decreased by 1,000 won to 38,300 won.

According to Yonhap News Agency, While HYUNDAIGLOVIS and HANAFINANCIALGR recorded slight declines, AMOREPACIFIC and FOOSUNG saw their stock prices drop and rise, respectively. FOOSUNG increased by 290 won, closing at 12,080 won.

Significant changes were also observed in the stock prices of SAMSUNG SDS, KOREA AEROSPACE, GS, and SK Innovation, with SAMSUNG SDS witnessing a notable increase of 7,400 won.

In contrast, CJ CheilJedang, SamyangFood, POONGSAN, and KBFinancialGroup experienced downturns in their closing prices. Notable declines included HanmiPharm and Meritz Financial, while DGB Financial Group, emart, and HyundaiElev also saw decreases in their stock values.
