Efforts Underway to Locate South Korean Tourist Missing in Paris

SEOUL/PARIS: The South Korean foreign ministry and the embassy in France are intensively searching for a 30-year-old South Korean national, identified only as Kim, who has been missing in Paris for more than two weeks.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Officials reported that Kim disappeared on April 19, a day after arriving from India and meeting an acquaintance in Paris’s 1st arrondissement. "We've been providing necessary consular assistance to his family since being informed that they lost contact with him," a ministry official stated, emphasizing the urgency of gathering information that could help locate him. The family's recent plea prompted the embassy to formally involve the French police in the search.
