SEOUL - South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul is scheduled to meet with Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly in Seoul this Thursday to discuss key aspects of bilateral relations, his office announced on Tuesday.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the upcoming talks will focus on enhancing cooperation in security and defense, as well as addressing regional issues including developments on the Korean Peninsula and the situation in Ukraine. This meeting underscores the continued efforts by South Korea and Canada to strengthen their relationship following the elevation of their bilateral ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership during the 2022 leaders' summit.
