Frigid Weather with Mixed Precipitation Expected Across South Korea

SEOUL - South Korea's weather forecast for Friday includes a mix of sunny, cloudy, and sleet conditions across its major cities.

According to Yonhap News Agency, temperatures are expected to range between 3 and -1 degrees Celsius with a 60 percent chance of sun. Incheon is set to experience sleet with similar chances of precipitation and temperatures hovering between 4 and 0 degrees Celsius.

Suwon and Cheongju are both forecasted to have sunny weather, with highs of 5 and 7 degrees Celsius and lows of -1 and 1 degree Celsius, respectively. Daejeon, facing a 70 percent chance of sleet, will see temperatures ranging from 7 to 0 degrees Celsius. Chuncheon is predicted to be sunny with temperatures between 4 and -2 degrees Celsius.

Gangneung is expected to have cloudy skies with a 30 percent chance of precipitation, while Jeonju, Gwangju, and Jeju are anticipated to experience sleet and rain. Jeju, in particular, is facing an 80 percent likelihood of rain with temperatures between 13 and 10 degrees Celsius. Daegu and Busan are predicted to remain sunny, with Daegu expecting temperatures between 11 and 3 degrees Celsius and Busan between 12 and 7 degrees Celsius.
