Government’s Online Civil Service Portal Experiences Nationwide Outage

SEOUL - A significant disruption occurred on Friday when the South Korean government's online civil service portal, Government24, went offline, affecting state public services across the country.

According to Yonhap News Agency, The portal has been inaccessible since 1:55 p.m., displaying a message about the service suspension due to a network equipment error within the National Information Resources Service. This technical issue also impacted the government's electronic administrative network, Saeol, leading to nationwide service disruptions. The breakdown has affected both online and offline services related to government-issued certificates and documents, causing widespread inconvenience and delays in public services.
