SEOUL — In its fourth-quarter financial results, KCC Corp. reported a substantial decrease in net profit by 78.3 percent, amounting to 17.3 billion won ($13 million).
According to Yonhap News Agency, The company's regulatory filing revealed a slight downturn in operating profit as well, which fell by 4 percent to 55.3 billion won compared to the previous year. Additionally, sales during the October-December period dropped by 3.6 percent to 1.58 trillion won.
This marked decline in net profit towards the year's end contrasts with the company's overall annual performance, pointing to emerging challenges KCC Corp. faced in maintaining its profitability and sales momentum in the competitive market landscape.
